First, when you arrive to our chiropractic office in Wilmington, we’ll ask you to fill out our new patient intake forms. This paperwork provides us basic information about you, as well as your medical history and a description of your condition. You can fill these forms out ahead of time by going here.
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Donald Reese to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Donald Reese to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your health goals.
After your consultation, Dr. Donald Reese will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, Dr. Donald Reese will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions. After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your spine and X-rays, Dr. Donald Reese will discuss recommendations for your treatment in order to help get you to optimal health.
At the conclusion of this initial appointment, you can choose to experience your first chiropractic treatment. This may include spinal adjustments, intersegmental traction, and/or spinal decompression. Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment anytime.
